NICKI TO HOST MTV EUROPEAN AWARD IN GLASGOW

It has been confirmed that Hip-hop artist, Nicki Minaj would be hosting this year's MTV European Music Awards set to take place on Sunday, November 9 in Glasgow, Scotland. Not only would she be hosting the event but she has been nominated for 4 categories (Best hip-hop, Best Female, Best Fans and Best Look).

She excitedly announced this news on her twitter and Instagram accounts accompanied with a captivating and royal photo of her sitting on a throne.

Her last and newest release of her music video, 'Anaconda' is still seared and fresh in our heads... Y'all who has seen that video understand what i'm talking about. The video did very well break Vevo's record for getting most views within 24 hours of it's release.. how does 19.6 million hits sound?

TREND REPORT: THE FRINGE AFFAIR!

Loads of trends have been making a come-back this season... well, I see it as Fashion Re-cycling. Trends that rocked way back when and then are coming back with a twist and looking more chic as ever! One of those among many is the 'Fringe Trend'. 

Before I move forward let me take this moment to clarify a little. When I say 'Fringe', I ain't talking about the popular Fringe hairstyle or 'Bangs' as it's fondly called.. *moving on*

One thought or one thing reminiscent of this trend are the Cow-boy folks or the Coachella crowd, they've been spot-on this trend throughout history and through the end of time, haha!

Recently, we've been spotting lots of fringe/tassels on almost everything, from bags to shoes, dresses, bikinis, jackets and the way it's been inculpated in fashion pieces and looks, from formal wears, cocktail dresses, chic skirts... hmm, I might as well get on the fringe wagon, i'm guessing it's an affair i'd be sure to love ( and hey.. i'll be sure to post pics when i do :))

There are various ways to channel this boho style to make you stand out, if you're afraid to go all out on this trend, like my wimpy self, you can start minimally or small.. maybe pairing your formal outfit with a strap shoe with a fringe detail or simply with a fringe-detailed clutch. LANRE DA SILVIA AJAYI DEBUTS SS15 COLLECTION AT VOGUE TALENT IN MILAN, ITALY

If there is to mention one of the top, talented Nigerian Fashion Designers touching lives, making changes & positive contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian Fashion Industry, beautifying the African woman and embedded in the hearts and lips of many, Mrs Lanre Da Silvia Ajayi of  'Lda Couture' would be one of those sung and chanted from the lips of many. She is one phenomenal and inspiring woman.

The Vogue Talent Show is a yearly international fashion event that showcases and acts as a platform to display and support new talents and up-and-designers around the world and it is quite an honor for Mrs Lanre Da Silvia Ajayi to be handpicked as one of those to showcase their talent/collection at the 'Vogue Talent show' in Milan, Italy.

Mrs Lanre De Silvia Ajayi would be showcasing her SS15 Collection at the Palazzo Morando in Milan Italy, named the 'Delight Collection'.  Her collection according to her, was inspired by the famous Olumo Rock located in Abeokuta, the largest city and capital of Ogun State in Southwest Nigeria.

The collection promises to be a colorful, vibrant yet sensual piece with lots of dimension and textures as seen below.

CHRIS BROWN SERIOUS ABOUT SETTLING DOWN WITH GIRLFRIEND, KARREUCHE TRAN!

Yeah- yeah.. I'm sure you all know about the whole 'Chris-Karreuche' love story, Him going back and forth and blah- blah- blah!.. As much as we are tired of hearing the ups and downs, back & forth and the rest of the confused shenanigans of Chris brown and his love life, He also seems to be exhausted about it all.. (For Jah's sake, he has to be!)

It's been rumored that Chris Brown would love to marry, settle down and have kids with  Karreuche Tran some day. Friends say He is tired if the roller-coaster ride and knows Karreuche loves him to death (awwww..), and  he is tired of hurting dear Karreuche. Chris would love to do it right by first putting a bling on her fingers before having kids and well... live happily ever after!.. 

Well, that would be one helluva commitment but I'd say it's high time!.. What say you?
