It started when Miss America was first photographed wearing a polka dot swim suit, and then later it was with the Mickey Mouse cartoon. I loved that cartoon when I was younger and can't forget the polka dotted ribbon or wears on 'Minnie Mouse'.... and ooh, did I mention Cruella Deville and the "101 Dalmatians?"...*those days*..
It's still here and can't just go away and we love it, you love it, the ladies love it, even the guys... don't think the Polka Dot trend is only for the ladies! If you are a guy and you want a touch of swag or class, you can incorporate a bit of Polka Dots in your accessories, It could be in your tie or shirt. For the ladies, it could be in your dress, nail polish design, shoes or accessories. This trend is pure vintage, retro, flirty, fresh, etc. It comes in different colors and sizes. Everybody looks good on polka dots. It's a wardrobe staple that everyone should have.
