She's topped headlines, She is topping the chats on iTunes store and has the fastest selling album on iTunes (selling 617,000 copies in 3 days), She has done it again... and this time, "who would av thunk it?"
According to iTunes Editor's notes, "Beyonce's fifth studio endeavor is a provocative, unguarded artistic statement- revealing a side of the icon previously unknown to fans and cementing her status as a pop visionary."
Without any preview or sneak peek of her new self-titled album "Beyonce", which is her 5th, Bey has stunned us one more time! Not even her crew spilled the tea, She's managed to keep the 17 track album release a secret. As a Beyonce fan all I could do was wonder what next has she got to offer, coz so far she has wow'ed us and done it all..( or so I thought, well.. until i clicked "download".. lol). I have anticipated and waited rather impatiently for this.
On this new album she featured her hubby, Jay-Z, among other collaborators such as the talented singer/songwriter Frank Ocean and one of the dopest rapper, Drake, Pharell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Rowland, Timberland, Michelle Williams, etc.
It's never been so easy for Bey especially on her struggle to the top. In addition to all this, she admits to have been inspired by feminist works by our own Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, who she also included in her album."Every thing she says is exactly how i feel", Bey explained.
