NIGERIAN CELEBS AT THE 2014 GRAMMY AWARDS (THE HUSTLE)

Well, well.. It's sweet for one to indulge in social functions and all especially when you are in the entertainment industry.. so kudos!
But then I thought, where they been nominated for something or what?.. and then a devoted reader of the blog said "It's the hustle!"

Is it??...

Well, as much as these Naija artists attended this event, my interest is "did they look smashing or not?" .. In the same way we expect a lot from the Hollywood celebs is also the same way we require our celebs/artists to bring in their A-game (whether invited or not).

The Grammy which took place on the 26th of January is the coming together of the Creme de la Cremes and the recognition of their talents, efforts and contribution in the world of entertainment, music, etc. So if our Naija artists did go there to put up a front or to represent the face of Nigeria we'd want to know if they did us proud or not, yeah?

We had Kcee, Seyi Shay, Harry Songs, Dencia, Julius Agwu, etc.

Below are photos.

Here we have Kcee of 'Limpopo' and Harry Songz. Both are doing the tuxedo but is this a win?.. Kcee for one didn't get it right, wrong choice of colors and fabric texture.. one would have thought he was a pimp. His stylist needs to get a whooping for this.

Harry Songs did it fairly well, what's missing is the confidence that goes with wearing that ensemble.

My-my!.. Dayo Adeneye of "Kennys Music Record" looks absolutely stunning in that Red.. totally did it right.. and the two gorgeous ladies by his sides also looked amazing.. my fave is the lady on the right, with the thigh-high open slit embellished dress.

Okay Dencia, we love the hair, we love the jumpsuit (we totally get it and we can see you shine brightly), but pairing it with that heel is just too much.. It's the Grammy, not a 'Mermaid themed Party'...if we where to give you a '7', you just dropped down to '-1'..

The lovely 'Seyi Shay'.. just doing it right, love the dress.. and so much of it's sexiness is behind...nice cut, frames you well and you did us well. :)

We love comedian, Julius Agwu's two-piece (second to the left), the suede bow tie just tops it up.. He did good.
